Packers fans are understandably concerned about Aaron Rodgers at the moment, but these three trap games will trouble them when the regular season begins.

The question of whether or not Aaron Rodgers can be convinced to continue his career in Green Bay continues to hang over the Packers like a dark cloud at the moment. The hope must be that the start of the 2021 NFL regular season can get everyone in the organization back on the same page.

Once the business of football is played out on the field, the Packers should once again be considered the favorites in the NFC North. That changes if Rodgers isn’t under center, but the odds still strongly favor him returning for another tour of duty in Green Bay.

With the Fall of Famer triggering Matt LaFleur’s offense, Packers nation should once again turn its collective attention towards the upcoming schedule. Green Bay has a chance to enjoy a special season, but avoiding a few high-profile trap games will be a big challenge. Packers fans should keep a particularly close eye on the following three matchups as the season rolls along.

3. Week 14 vs. Bears

Projecting what Chicago will look like in Week 14 is an interesting proposition. Even if Andy Dalton starts the year under center for Matt Nagy, the job will almost certainly belong to Justin Fields by the time Week 14 rolls around.

The Packers enjoy the advantage of a bye week right before this divisional matchup. On the flip side, the massive Week 15 matchup at Baltimore will cause some distraction in Green Bay. LaFleur and his coaching staff will need to work diligently to keep the focus on Fields and the Bears coming out of the bye. A loss here could trip Green Bay up before their stretch run.
