AT&T Byron Nelson purse: Payout by player, finishing position

Breaking down the AT&T Byron Nelson payout and purse for the 2022 trip to TPC Craig Ranch and after a shootout in Texas.

For anyone thought that the AT&T Byron Nelson was going to be a boring lead-up to the PGA Championship, they were proved extremely wrong throughout the week at TPC Craig Ranch, just the second time that this vaunted tournament has taken up residence at this venue.

Sebastian Munoz started off the week blistering hot and remained strongly in the mix throughout the week. On Sunday, however, it was the defending champion, K.H. Lee — a player who had never been atop the leaderboard this week but had been lurking all along — who made a blistering run. Big-time challengers such as Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama tried their best to chase him down, but it was all for naught.

Lee decided that this is his tournament and captured the title at TPC Craig Ranch for the second straight year, actually bettering his score that won from last year by one stroke.

But how much does the AT&T Byron Nelson payout net Lee out of the $9.1 million purse? That’s a cool $1.638 million for him, but let’s also take a look at the prize money and payout for every other player who made the cut as well.
