Best MLB prop bets for White Sox vs. Astros (Fade Luis Robert)

Welcome to Opening Day of the 2023 MLB season!
We have a full slate of games to bet on, but don’t be fooled into thinking sides and totals are the only thing that can be wagered on. Yes, MLB has prop bets as well.
So, if you want to add some prop bets to your portfolio for today’s action, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s dive into a couple of my favorites for tonight’s AL matchup between the White Sox and Astros.
White Sox vs. Astros prop bets
- Dylan Cease UNDER 6.5 strikeouts (-130)
- Luis Robert UNDER 0.5 hits (+190)
Dylan Cease UNDER 6.5 strikeouts (-130)
If you want to bet on Dylan Cease to record plenty of strikeouts, today’s game against the Houston Astros might not be the time to do it. The Astros were third in Major League Baseball last year in strikeout percentage, striking out on only 19.8% of at bats.
Cease pitched against the Astros once last year season, and only record four strikeouts. I’ll take the UNDER on his strikeout total tonight.
Luis Robert UNDER 0.5 hits (+180)
If you’re looking for a big plus-money prop bet for this game, look no further than Luis Robert to not record a hit. Robert had a rough Spring Training, sporting a batting average of just .211, which may mean he could use a few games in the regular season before he warms up.
Now, he has to face Framber Valdez who had an opponent batting average of .223 last season. At +180, this is a great prop bet to place.
