Lincoln Riley just added another top-tier transfer at USC

The USC Trojans land another huge name to their offense through the transfer portal, and it is Pitt wide receiver Jordan Addison.

Big things have happened with the USC Trojans program after they managed to pry Lincoln Riley away from the Oklahoma Sooners to become their head coach. Not long after that, Riley secured his former quarterback at Oklahoma, Caleb Williams, through the transfer portal.

He has now added another huge name to the team’s offense.

On Thursday, May 19, Pitt Panthers wide receiver Jordan Addison officially announced on Twitter that he was transferring over to USC.

The official Twitter account of the Trojans football program also announced the news, saying that Addison is joining “Wide Receiver University.”

In late April, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman reported that Addison was looking to transfer out of Pittsburgh, and listed USC as a potential landing spot. That has now become a reality after this latest news.

Addison is coming off of a tremendous season with the Panthers this past season, where he caught 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns, the latter of which was tied for the most recorded in the entire nation. As a result, Addison won the Fred Biletnikoff, which is given to the top wide receiver in college football.

The great offseason for Trojans fans continues, as they add a big-time wide receiver to their offense, especially since Drake London left for the NFL and was eventually drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round. The Williams to Addison connection should be fun to watch throughout the upcoming season.
