Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. did LeBron James’ signature pregame chalk toss during the team’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 11.
The Atlanta Braves have been on fire, as they won nine straight games entering Saturday, June 11. One reason for that is that star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. is on fire. Recently, he has been using signature NBA player celebrations whenever he hit a home run. From LeBron James’ “silencer” celebration, to Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young’s “Ice Trae” taunt.
During the team’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Acuña hit another home run, this time in the leadoff position to give the Braves an early 1-0 lead. When he was in the dugout, the outfielder decided to take another page out of LeBron’s playbook, as he did his signature pregame chalk toss.

For those wondering what James would think about this celebration, well you do not have to. The Los Angeles Lakers star sent out a tweet saying “man I love this kid.”
Atlanta went on to defeat Pittsburgh 10-4.
Acuña is on a hot streak, as this is his fourth home run hit in the past six games. Following this game, he is slashing .316/.411/.538 while recording six home runs, 16 RBI, 24 runs scored and 37 hits.
Given his trend of mimicking the celebrations of NBA stars, one has to wonder what Acuña will do when he next hits a home run. Based on his play recently, we could find out shortly.
