California cities among the ‘worst’ cities for drivers, study says

With the holiday season in full swing, many Californians hope that Santa’s helpers, aka delivery drivers, drop off their packages just in time for Christmas.

However, a study from Circuit Blog showed that factors, including congestion levels, time spent in traffic, and driving fatalities, can make driving conditions hazardous for delivery drivers, or any travelers, on the road.

It’s no surprise that cities in the Golden State weren’t considered driver-friendly.

Los Angeles ranked 5th for the worst city for drivers. Cities such as San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Diego earned the 14th, 21st, and 25th spots, respectively.

According to the study, the City of Angels was also the second worst city for traffic congestion, number of traffic jams, and how many miles the roadblocks cover.

New York, Chicago, and Miami were placed within the top three spots for the worst places to drive, especially for delivery drivers, according to the study.

What are the best places to drive? The study considered Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Worcester, MA, the most driver-friendly.
