Grammy Awards 2022: Justin Bieber, Daniel Cesar and Giveon rock out with ‘Peaches’

Pop star Justin Bieber made his return to the Grammy stage Sunday night during the 64th Annual Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

He kicked off his performance with a stripped-down version of the Grammy-nominated song, “Peaches,” sitting at the piano wearing a black hoodie and backward baseball cap. He was later joined by the song co-singers Daniel Cesar and Giveon and a backing band that gave the song a little more soul. Though it seemed like the live broadcast tried to mute the line, “I get my weed from California,” the sentiment managed to sneak through a few times.

“Peaches” received four nominations including record and song of the year, best R&B performance and best music video.

Overall, Bieber was nominated for eight awards including album of the year and best pop vocal album for “Justice,” best pop solo performance with “Anyone” and best pop duo/group performance for “Lonely,” a duet with Benny Blanco.
