LA Comic Con announces early bird ticket sales will begin Aug. 4

L.A. Comic Con will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center on Dec. 2-4, 2022, with early bird tickets going on sale later this week, organizers announced Monday, Aug. 1.

“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to L.A. Comic Con for another phenomenal year,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO of parent company Comikaze Entertainment, in a written statement.

“While 2021 was certainly a special and successful event for all involved, our team is committed to bringing fans an even better experience this time around,” he said. “Be on the lookout for more details as we drop hints in the coming months.”

L.A. Comic Con also announced a few of its celebrity guests on Monday. They include actor Giancarlo Esposito of “The Mandalorian,” “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul,” Tom Kenny, the voice of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and actress-director Amy Jo Johnson of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”

In 2021, L.A. Comic Con returned with an in-person event after going dark in 2020. Almost 100,000 attended during the weekend after Thanksgiving, and organizers said they decided to stay in that area on the calendar in part because the timing seemed good for holiday shopping for visitors and vendors alike.

Early bird ticket sales start Thursday, Aug. 4 with general admission and VIP weekend passes on sale for just under 20 percent what they will cost as L.A. Comic-Con gets closer.
