Man critically injured in stabbing in Old Town trolley station parking lot

SAN DIEGO — 

San Diego police are investigating a stabbing in the Old Town trolley station parking lot that left a man with life-threatening injuries early Monday, officials said.

The victim suffered two stab wounds in his upper body shortly before 7:30 a.m., said San Diego police Sgt. Jake Mosteller.

The man was taken to a hospital to be treated.

It was not known what led up to the shooting. No other details were immediately available.
