Man shot in Lemon Grove

LEMON GROVE — 

A man was shot Saturday night in Lemon Grove, a sheriff’s official said.

The shooting was reported about 9:45 p.m. on Lemon Grove Boulevard, north of Palm Street, Lt. Scott Roller said. Deputies responded to the scene.

A car linked to the shooting crashed at the nearby intersection of Lemon Grove and Palm, Roller said. He did not know how the car was associated with the shooting.

The shooting victim was transported to a hospital. Roller did not know the man’s condition.
