Police search Maya Millete’s home, four months after California mom disappeared

Police reportedly served a search warrant at the home of missing California woman Maya Millete Friday, exactly four months after the defense contractor and mother of three vanished.

A large team of Chula Vista police officers and Border Patrol agents with cadaver dogs visited the suburban San Diego home Friday afternoon, according to Fox News.

Maya Millete reportedly vanished in January of 2021. Police revisited the house four months later and spent almost two hours executing a warrant.

The investigators were at the Milletes’ house for at least an hour and 45 minutes, the outlet reported.

Chula Vista police have now executed 23 warrants in connection with the case, according to the article.

Her husband, Larry Millete, initially speculated that his 39-year-old wife left the home to be by herself. He stopped cooperating in the investigation about a month after her Jan. 7 disappearance, authorities said.

Millete husband Larry, left, was initially cooperative with the investigation, but has since retained a lawyer and stopped helping police.

Larry suspected that Maya was having an affair last summer, and discussed ordering a hit on the other man, according to a recent Fox report.

“If anything happened to me, it would be Larry,” Maya reportedly told relatives in January.

Police have not named any suspects in the case.
