Ring in 2023 with Gwen Stefani, Bruno Mars, Tenacious D and more in Las Vegas

If staying put and making local plans for New Year’s Eve doesn’t sound appealing this year, plenty of major concerts and other live performances are happening inside Las Vegas casinos, on the Strip and beyond.

If you’re planning the trip, make travel arrangements and any reservations as early as possible to ensure you don’t set your eyes on something that ends up selling out.

Here are some shows to consider if you’re planning to kiss 2022 goodbye in Las Vegas.

Kevin Hart

Stand-up comedian Kevin Hart will perform New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in Las Vegas. He’s known for stand-up specials such as “Seriously Funny,” “Laugh at My Pain” and “Let Me Explain” as well as roles in films like “Ride Along,” “Get Hard” and the latest movie in the “Jumanji” franchise. 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 and Sunday, Jan. 1. The Killers

One of the biggest bands to come out of Las Vegas is The Killers and they’ll be playing their hometown on New Year’s Eve. The four-piece band is known for the hits “Mr. Brightside,” “All These Things That I’ve Done” and “When You Were Young.” 8 p.m. The Cosmopolitan, 3708 Las Vegas Boulevard. Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars will bring his mix of soul, funk and pop into 2023. Mars and rapper Anderson .Paak’s duo project Silk Sonic had a residency in Las Vegas that wrapped up in August. If you’re a fan of Mars’ solo work and songs like “Uptown Funk,” “That’s What I Like” and “The Lazy Song,” you’ll want to secure tickets before this show sells out. 9 p.m. Park MGM, 3770 South Las Vegas Boulevard. Ru Paul’s Drag Race LIVE

The hit reality show “Ru Paul’s Drag Race” will host a series of live shows on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The live experience features a mix of original music, lip-syncing, comedy and dance numbers with drag queens including Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, Kameron Michaels, Naomi Smalls, Vanessa “Vanjie” Matteo, Eureka O’Hara, Jada Essence Hall, Plastique Tiara and Trinity K Bonet. 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 and Sunday, Jan. 1.
