Shepherd mix GeeBee is a playful, happy girl

Breed: German shepherd mix

Age: 1 year

Sex: Spayed female

Size: 72 pounds

GeeBee’s story: GeeBee has a funny name, but there is a reason. The Mission Viejo Animal Services rescued her, her 10 siblings and their mom from a shelter in Los Angeles and named them after items you would find at a Thanksgiving feast. Green Bean, now GeeBee, is a great dog: happy, active, playful and loving. Since she’s on the large size, her adopter should be used to big dogs, and she should not go to a home with toddlers. She is friendly with all new people and dogs and would make a great running or hiking partner or a new friend for an active dog.

Adoption fee: Since GeeBee needs a little training, her adoption will include one private training session sponsored by Dedicated Animal Welfare Group, the shelter’s volunteer group, and her adoption fee is only $20 for an approved adopter.

Adoption procedure: Application and screening of potential adopters is required to ensure they are the right fit for GeeBee. Visit GeeBee at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest, Mission Viejo; call 949-470-3045; or email [email protected].
