Teen suffers gunshot wound to arm after party guests clash outside Otay Mesa West home

A teen suffered a gunshot wound to the arm early Sunday after a clash broke out between two groups following a house party in Otay Mesa West, police said.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Palm Avenue and Norstadt Street when partygoers started arguing and someone pulled out a gun and fired several shots, police said. A 16-year-old boy was hit in the arm.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated. The wound was not considered life threatening, police said.
