Gunman shoots at man, strikes home, vehicle in National City

NATIONAL CITY —
A gunman shot at another man Monday afternoon in National City, missing the victim, but stray bullets struck a nearby home and vehicle, police said.
The shooter fired a handgun several times at the other man during an argument at a liquor store on East 16th Street near Harbison Avenue about 2:50 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived, the gunman was gone. Officers found expended shell casings on the ground and bullet holes on a vehicle and a home in the area, Sgt. Kenneth Springer said. Officers did not find a suspect.
