A pedestrian was killed early Thursday, July 8, when struck by a vehicle in Fullerton with the driver leaving the scene but later detained for questioning, authorities said.
Fullerton police responded and found the man in an Orangethorpe Avenue lane near Harbor Boulevard about 3:30 a.m., Cpl. Billy Phu said.
Sometime later, officers found a car and a driver in a parking lot south of the collision site that appeared related to the crash, he said.
More information was not available on the pedestrian.
The driver had not been arrested.
